Hampton's Sentinel Hinge Joint fencing is available in various mesh sizes and patterns and suitable for many applications including horse fencing, stock fencing, forestry fencing.

All our Sentinel hinge joint fences are manufactured to BS EN 10223 and unless otherwise requested, all wires used are manufactured to BS4102 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2 Class A.

About Hampton’s Otter Fencing

Our steel wire otter fencing solutions safely and successfully exclude otters without harming them. Protected by EC and European Law, otters can be one of the most destructive predators, so our specialist otter fencing offers an appropriate solution. 

Hampton NET™ for otters has the versatility to withstand even the most cunning of otter attacks. It boasts incredibly strong joints, preventing otters from forcing the wires apart, while remaining aesthetically sympathetic.

Hampton’s otter fencing is offered up to 228cm high with small apertures and includes a hinged, angled top section, effectively preventing otters climbing up and over.

Customers can opt for either a single fence specification with the lower section buried creating a mesh barrier to any otters attempting to burrow under, or a two fence system which features a skirt laying at ground level to similarly help with exclusion of otters.

The low profile knotted joint has no protruding ends so, whilst helping to exclude the otters, they are kept from harm.

Technical Specification

Customers can choose our two combinations of otter fencing - erecting Hampton's 19/183/5c with a hinged upper section to be angled out and the separate smaller hinged section, 6/51/5a to provide a 'skirt' along the ground preventing otters from burrowing to gain access.

There is also the 22/228/5 pattern.

Hampton NET™ badger fencing solution is designed to protect and help safely exclude badgers.

Combining the versatility and strength of the Hampton NET™ with a hinged lower section provides the ultimate in badger fencing. The lower section is angled out and buried a minimum of 450mm into the ground, helping to guard against badgers burrowing under to gain access.

Smaller apertures and the superior strength of Hampton NET™ protects the badger from entrapment and helps safely prevent access.

Strainerlok™ metal angle and box strainers are an excellent long-life alternative to traditional timber strainer assemblies. 

Its light weight, yet incredibly strong, magna tubular steel construction allows strainers to be erected easily, often without the need for pre-augured holes.

Hand held post drivers can be used, a real benefit when the terrain prevents vehicular access.

Supplied in both metal box and angle strut options, packs include anti-lift/twist heel and breast plates, bracing wires, Gripples and post/strut connectors providing easy to assemble metal straining systems.

Suitable for fence heights up to 2.6 metres high.

Multiple struts can can attached to any Hampton metal strainer post permitting changes in direction where required.

With its delta profile this new intermediate metal post is superior in strength and able to accommodate all woven wire fence patterns.

Quick and simple to erect, the Versalok® post has been designed with lozenge shaped holes to easily and securely lock in the patented stainless steel Versalok® clip.

Where required, two clips can be inserted into one hole thereby increasing product versatility.

Combined with Hampton's steel box and angle Strainer Systems, Hampton can provide customers with a fully integrated metal post system.
